About

Georgia Webber (she/her)

Teacher, director, whatever!

I started teaching comics because I love to talk about comics with other people, I have always cared deeply about how we learn.

I used to teach in person, because I had a bias that it was always better to teach and to learn in the same physical location together. My teaching experiences were exciting, but also difficult: my values often directly contradict the conditions I was teaching under, and I have chronic health conditions that require more flexibility than teaching jobs could offer me.

So I made up my own job: Drawing the Inside Out. This project, now a donation-based business, is founded in my values and supports my body in ways that traditional employment does not. One of the ways it supports my health? I LOVE IT SO MUCH!

My approach has a process-oriented, growth-focused, liberatory framework for spreading the good of comics, the support of community, and the magic of self-discovery through and beyond each of us, into the world.
